About

Adam maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on construction law and regulatory defence. His experience extends to all aspects of the litigation process, and his focus is to provide clients with sound advice on substantive areas of law and litigation strategy. Adam has appeared extensively before the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador. Adam has additionally opened his practice to sports law. His involvement in the sporting community as an amateur athlete and volunteer has led Adam to develop a keen interest in the management and administration of amateur and professional sports organizations and governing bodies. During university, he worked in game operations for the St. John’s IceCaps, the former AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets and subsequently, the Montreal Canadiens. His interest, education, and experience will provide value to amateur and professional sports organizations in governance reviews, policy development and analysis, risk management and mitigation, and general strategy. During his bar admissions course, Adam was a co-recipient of the 2019 Provincial Court Judges’ Association Award for Criminal Law. While in law school, he was awarded the 2019 Spirit of UNB Law Award.
