Aidan advises clients on all aspects of construction projects, from contract drafting through to dispute resolution, and on insurance coverage. She has particular experience resolving multi-party project disputes, including those involving P3 and other infrastructure projects, commercial and residential developments, and mining projects. She advises on all manner of issues, including those involving delay, disruption, defects and breaches of contract. She readily deals with complex builders lien matters and was counsel on some of the leading lien cases in BC. She is also a guest lecturer for UBC’s Construction Law course. Before joining McLean & Armstrong LLP in 2024, she was the national co-lead of the Project Disputes and Mining Litigation Groups at a leading national law firm. Aidan advises on insurance coverage matters, only for insureds, including issues arising in connection with projects and other commercial endeavours, denials of coverage under property, liability, D&O and cyber policies, the preparation of complex proofs of loss, and dispute resolution and litigation wherever required.
