Alan A. Frydenlund protects lenders by perfecting their security, safeguarding their security from intervening claims, and by realizing on their security.As a solicitor Alan acts for clients on various aspects of lending transactions with particular emphasis on representing lenders and borrowers on syndicated secured debt financings for all matter of lending transactions. As a barrister Alan conducts realization proceedings, including residential and commercial foreclosures, receiverships and acting for clients in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Alan has conducted realization litigation in Courts in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and the Yukon Territory.Alan has written and presented on legal topics for Continuing Legal Education and the Professional Legal Training Course. Additionally Alan has tendered expert evidence to the British Columbia Supreme Court on financing transactions.
