About
Alexandra is a corporate lawyer, primarily supporting clients in the energy and natural resources sector. She advises clients on environmental regulatory matters and a range of general corporate matters, including transactions, financing, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting requirements. Alexandra worked as a summer law student at McInnes Cooper and continued with the firm throughout articling, gaining significant experience within the renewables space, particularly in wind projects. While articling, she also seconded to an energy company’s in-house legal team, dealing with legal matters in the electricity industry. Alexandra has long demonstrated a commitment to advocacy and leadership, which she continued to build during law school as a member of the Environmental Law Society and President of the International Law Society. She also completed two pro bono projects through Pro Bono Students Canada and, in her final year, she published a legal information handbook in collaboration with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind
