Alissa brings a wealth of diverse experience to her new position, having held several key roles during her tenure with the Law Society. Notably, she served for several years as Equity Officer and Policy Counsel, where she worked with the Indigenous Advisory Committee and led a team that successfully launched “The Path,” the mandatory Indigenous Intercultural Awareness and Competency training for all practising Manitoba lawyers, as well as the2022 Part-Time Practising Fees Pilot Program.
