In her developing labour, human rights, and administrative law practice, she advances workers’ autonomy, dignity, and collective power through creative and strategic legal advocacy and accessible legal education. Ariana completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2024. During law school, she was active in student advocacy and campus organizing, serving in leadership roles with the Labour Law Club, the Racialized Law Students Collective, and as the Faculty of Law’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion student representative. As part of her degree, she wrote a major research paper examining transnational labour organizing strategies aimed at precarious workers. She also completed self-directed studies on Indigenous-campesino labour movements and the role of law in social movements, including collaboration with Divest UVic to strategize pathways for the University’s divestment from the arms trade.

Prior to law school, Ariana was awarded the UCalgary Political Science Prize for Best Student Paper, recognizing exceptional scholarship on the root causes of exploitation and oppression.
