About
Caitlin is a lawyer in our Charlottetown office, where she maintains a broad practice with a focus on litigation, estates and trusts, and administrative law. She takes a collaborative, practical, and client-centered approach, guiding clients through complex legal disputes by providing strategic solutions tailored to their values and goals. Caitlin began her legal career as a judicial law clerk with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Ottawa, where she gained valuable insight into trial advocacy and judicial decision-making. She went on to build a general litigation practice at a mid-sized firm, where she developed a keen interest in estate and trust litigation, including capacity and power of attorney disputes. In 2024, Caitlin returned to her home province of Prince Edward Island. Before joining McInnes Cooper, she worked with a financial institution to provide estate planning support to financial advisors and their clients.
