Education

I took her advice. I tailored my applications. I removed the LL.M. from my résumé.
The one place my LL.M. truly counted was in my NCA assessment, part of the licensing process to become a lawyer in Canada.
Today, I no longer have to set that part of myself aside. I get to embrace every step of this journey , the LL.M., the practice experience, the detours, the humility, the perseverance.
Now, I can put that LL.M. back on my résumé not as a credential to impress, but as a symbol of a journey that demanded humility, persistence, and quiet strength.
