Claudine Bardsley

Claudine completed the first of her post secondary studies at Dalhousie University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French at Dalhousie University in 1997. In 2001 Claudine obtained her law degree at L'Ecole de droit, L'Université de Moncton. After completing her articles at Halifax law firm, Cox & Palmer, Claudine was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2002 and continues to be a member to current day (non-practising). Early into her legal career, Claudine discovered a passion for labour and employment law. Wanting to gain first-hand experience in management, she joined Irving Shipbuilding Inc. as a Manager of Labour Relations. Working her way to become Director of Labour Relations responsible for over 900 trade union workers, Claudine’s responsibilities included overseeing strategic labour relations, collective bargaining, discipline and discharge, the grievance and arbitration process, advising on staff human resources issues and managing a team of other human resources professionals. Claudine has nearly two decades of deep experience in labour relations in the private and public sectors, including conducting and managing a wide array of workplace investigations involving both union and non-union parties. Leaving Labour Relations for the world of investigative solutions was a natural evolution for Claudine’s passion for workplace investigations. Covid was also a game changer that made her realize, "If not now, when?" Seeing a gap in the skill level of investigative services currently available to employers, she established Bardsley Investigative Solutions.
