David is a Partner in our General Litigation Group. David brings a rare combination of trial expertise and business acumen to his litigation practice. He began his career with a decade in criminal law—first as an Assistant Crown Attorney, then as Defence Counsel—as trial counsel for many of the most serious offences in the Criminal Code before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court. David has conducted numerous jury trials. After earning his MBA in 2000, David worked in the aerospace and defence sector, ultimately serving as Director of Pricing for a major military contractor. He led multimillion-dollar negotiations and presented regularly at the board level, gaining deep experience in high-pressure commercial environments.
