Debra received her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in 2001, then went on to pursue a law degree. She received her Bachelor of Law degree in 2005. Debra comes from a strong labour background. She worked for the City of Winnipeg Golf Services for eight years as a CUPE member and has always kept up with the labour movement. She is also actively involved with the legal community. He completed his articles at the Local under the guidance of Debra Malmquist. Tony has a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree, a Master of Arts degree, and a Juris Doctor law degree. Upon graduating from law school in 2023, he was awarded the Paul Teskey Memorial Prize for highest academic standing in labour law and mediation courses. Prior to law school, Tony was a long-time UFCW member in the produce department at Superstore 1515 in Brandon, and then as an organizer, shop steward and bargaining committee member at Stella’s Restaurant on Sherbrook Street in Winnipeg.
