Debra Takeuchi

Debra is an Associate Lawyer at D’Arcy & Deacon LLP, having joined the firm in 2015.  She practices primarily in the area of family law, where she assists clients in achieving a practical resolution to their family law issues.  She has extensive experience in both litigation and negotiated settlements.  Debra completed the Collaborative Practice Manitoba training in 2018.Debra is originally from Rorketon, Manitoba.  She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in 1991 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1995.  Debra received her Call to the Bar in 1996, and commenced practice in Brandon, Manitoba.From 1999 to 2007, Debra lived in Japan where she taught English and studied Japanese.  Debra returned to practicing law in Winnipeg in 2008, and has maintained a busy family law practice.Debra is a member on the Executive of the Family Law Subsection of Manitoba Bar Association.
