Scott has been very active in the community volunteering for both the Law Society of Prince Edward Island as well as many groups and organizations including Watermark Theatre, Prince Edward Island Arts Council, and the Friends of the Confederation Centre to name a few.Scott is a Sessional Lecturer at the U.P.E.I.
