Eleanor has been practicing law for more than 45 years. Since 1991 Eleanor has been a sole practitioner with her practice almost exclusively in family law with an emphasis on the collaborative process. She has been a registered collaborative family lawyer since 2005. The collaborative process provides options to assist the parties to reach a solution for settlement agreeable to both parties. It employs other trained collaborative professionals to provide information and advice to the parties in reaching a settlement. It is a more cost effective and timely way to deal with and resolve conflict and offers a win win solution to the parties.Eleanor is past Chairperson of the Board of Director of the Edmonton Food Bank, 1996- 2002; past member and Chairperson of St Joseph’s College, University of Alberta, 1986 – 1992; and past secretary of the Board of Governors of the Ronald McDonald House, 1988 – 1990.
