Emily MacLeod

Emily was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick and considers Wolfville, Nova Scotia, one of her second homes as she graduated from Acadia University in 2017. During her time at Acadia, she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Basketball Program from 2013 to 2017 and enriched her time with other volunteer pursuits as a student. Emily currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Acadia Alumni Association and cherishes staying connected to the Acadia community. From the time she was young Emily dreamed of pursuing a career in law and in 2021 she was the third member of her family to graduate from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law. Since being called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2022, she has cultivated a practice in the areas of Family Law, Wills and Estates Law and Real Property.  In her practice, Emily encourages clients to engage in early, organized and efficient Estate planning to ensure that their loved ones have as much peace of mind as possible during difficult times. She brings the same pragmatism to her work in the family law space.
