He immediately joined a law firm where he assisted in the practice of commercial litigation, contracts and criminal law. After a year, he moved to study in Ghana where he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Ports and Shipping Administration (Maritime Studies) from the University of Ghana, in 2003. He went further to Malta where I obtained an LLM in International Maritime Law from the IMO (International Maritime Organization) International Maritime Law Institute in 2005, and moved to the UK to study for, and to take the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Professional Qualifying Examinations to later qualify as a Member (MICS – Shipbroker) and was elected a Fellow (FICS) of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK – Chartered Shipbroker in 2012.
