About
Folu is a new associate with a broad litigation practice that includes insurance defence, municipal law, employment law and class actions. Folu joins us from the largest regional law firm in Atlantic Canada, where she represented clients before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, with an emphasis on civil litigation in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. A bright and charismatic litigator, Folu is dedicated to finding lasting, practical solutions for her clients’ unique needs. Folu is a true believer in alternative dispute resolution and understands the value of efficient and timely outcomes for her clients. Before being called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022, Folu obtained her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. During her time in law school, Folu was very involved in student life, serving as a pro bono volunteer, a Dalhousie Student Advocate, a Schulich Ambassador, and the Vice President of Communications for the Black Law Students’ Association. Prior to law school, Folu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Queen’s University.
