Allard School of Law to obtain a strong grounding in Canadian law, with a focus on immigration, refugee, and criminal law.  She has now transitioned her practice to Canadian immigration law. A committed advocate for access to justice, Helen has trained legal professionals, delivered community legal education in English and Spanish, and published work on juvenile immigration issues in the U.S.  She brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her practice and is dedicated to supporting newcomers navigating Canada’s immigration system.
