About Jacob ElykJacob is an associate lawyer with Diamond & Diamond Lawyers. Jacob earned his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2018. He earned his law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2021. While in law school, Jacob earned the NB Trial Lawyers' Association Prize in Trial Practice and represented UNB in the Canadian National Negotiation Moot, where he earned the award for Best Communication and relationship-building Skills.Jacob articled with a plaintiff personal injury firm in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and was called to the bar there in 2022. He has appeared in various levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Federal Tax Court.
