JAMES E. B. JOHNSTONJames E. B. Johnston (Jim) was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. He received his Bachelor of Science from St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia and spent a year in additional studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. He received his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton in 1982. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1984.Jim has practiced Law in the Province of Alberta for over 30 years, specializing in Family Law, Litigation, Real Estate, Adoption, Criminal Defense and Child Advocacy. Jim has been a member of the West Edmonton Rotary Club for over 30 years and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow recognizing his past service to the Rotary Club.In his spare time, Jim coached hockey and soccer for his children and grandson. McPike was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and is a proud Albertan. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He obtained a Bachelor of Education, from the University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge, Alberta and his Bachelor of Law from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1981.Jim taught High School English at the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute for several years before practicing law in the Edmonton area. Jim practices Family Law, Litigation, Real Estate and Criminal Defense. Jim is a family man, philatelist, and dog lover.
