Jayna maintains a diverse practice spanning labour and employment law, energy and environmental law and health and privacy law. With a strong commitment to advocacy and client service, Jayna is dedicated to delivering personalized and effective legal solutions for clients. Jayna’s labour and employment experience consists of assisting with policy and agreement drafting, as well as assisting clients on various matters including workplace disputes, collective bargaining in the construction industry, wrongful termination and discrimination claims. Jayna’s passion for the energy and environmental sector is rooted in her previous research experience where she focused on exploring the intersections between environmental law, the common law duty to consult and Indigenous law and legal orders. She has been involved in advising clients on regulatory and legislative compliance, with a focus on the wind energy and hydrogen sector in Newfoundland and Labrador.
