Margaret Weir Andreassen is a respected lawyer with over 40 years of experience serving the Camrose community. Effective January 1, 2024, Margaret has chosen to leave the partnership at Andreassen Borth but will continue to work with the firm in a new role as Counsel. This transition will allow her to pursue other interests, such as kayaking, traveling, and spending more time with family and friends, while still providing her clients with the exceptional legal services they have come to expect. Michael Borth is a respected lawyer based in Killam, Alberta, where he has been practicing law for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1991, Mike articled under the guidance of Harry P.D. Andreassen at the Andreassen Olson law firm, where he continues to work today.

Andreassen was inspired to pursue law school from a young age by observing how her father and aunt were serving their community.
“I thought law school would be a competitive, isolating experience but the community at UAlberta Law has been incredible,” she said. “The community was so supportive. That really helped.”
