Jill Sheward

Jill Sheward is a founding partner of Swainson Miki Peskett practicing in our real estate group. Born in Edmonton, Jill grew up in Sherwood Park after a brief stint in Germany when she was a young child. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and in 2005 with a law degree (LL.B.), subsequently being called to the bar in Alberta (2006), Nunavut (2011) and Northwest Territories (2019). Jill’s practice revolves around commercial real estate, primarily commercial financing, as well as acquisitions and dispositions of office, industrial and retail properties. She has acted for a number of institutional and private real estate lenders, commercial real estate owners, and related entities.
