Jillian Hickey

Jillian is a lawyer in our St. John’s office with a practice focused in corporate and business, energy and natural resources and tax. She advises clients on purchase and sale transactions, income tax, corporate governance, and other commercial matters. Jillian received a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and holds a Juris Doctor degree from University of New Brunswick. At UNB Law, she was awarded the David Covert Entrance Scholarship. Jillian was also awarded the Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Scholarship for her outstanding academic achievements. She was a member of the Articling and Placement Committee throughout her law degree and is committed to her local community having volunteered with Children’s Wish Foundation and Special Olympics. Before transitioning to law, Jillian worked in engineering.
