Moir of the Edmonton law firm Wood, Haddad, Moir & Hope and was called to the Bar June 12, 1955 and named Q.C. in 1965. Mr. Brumlik retired in 2002 as the senior partner in the Edmonton law firm Brumlik Lees. Mr. Brumlik served on various Law Society Committees including the Bench Liaison Committee and the Insurance and Loss Prevention Committee and also was employed as a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta Law School for over 20 years, where he taught insurance law and advocacy. In 2001, Mr. Brumlik received the Law Society of Alberta- Canadian Bar Association Distinguished Service Award for his dedication to the Canadian and Alberta Legal Profession.
