Kristofer Advent

Kristofer Advent is an Edmonton, Alberta based criminal defence lawyer who also practices in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario (and surrounding areas). In 2019 he joined one of the most sought after criminal defence teams in Western Canada atBeresh Law. Previously, Mr. Advent articled and practiced with Gindin Wolson Simmonds Roitenberg in Winnipeg, MB after graduating from law school in 2012. Kristofer has represented clients charged with offences in Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan. He is experienced withcriminal conviction and sentence appeals, having appeared numerous times in the Manitoba Court of Appeal. He has also conducted numerous trials at the Provincial and Superior Court (Queen’s Bench) level. In addition to representing clients charged with a wide range of  criminal offences includingviolent and assault offences (domestic assaults, sexual assaults), impaired driving, weapon and firearm offences and drug offences, Kristofer is also experienced in assisting clients who are at risk of losing theirdriver's licenseor who are charged with provincial traffic offences.
