Lauryn Boag (she/her) began working at Victory Square Law Office as an articling student in 2023 before joining the firm as an associate in 2024 upon being called to the bar. She practices in labour, human rights, and administrative law. Lauryn completed her Juris Doctor from UBC in 2023. She spent a year as a clinician in the law school’s International Justice and Human Rights Clinic, working on a project to eliminate forced labour practices in Canada and around the world. She also participated in the Jessup International Moot, where her team came in second place and Lauryn was recognized as one of the top 10 oralists in the Canadian rounds. She worked as a program coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada, an organization that helps students and lawyers provide free legal services to individuals facing barriers to justice. During law school, Lauryn also worked and volunteered for the Migrant Workers Centre, helping to advocate for migrant workers facing a variety of legal issues. Lauryn is passionate about upholding human rights and advocating for workers’ rights. She brings her social justice background into all her work at Victory Square and ensures that her practice is conducted in a trauma-informed manner.
