Liam is a partner with Curtis Dawe Lawyers. He joined the firm in 1996.Liam is a partner with Curtis Dawe Lawyers. He joined the firm in 1996 after completing his B.A. (Honours), from St. Francis Xavier University and his LL. B from the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the Bar in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1997.Liam’s practice is primarily in the area of litigation, with a focus on health law (professional negligence and discipline), utility regulation as well as civil and commercial litigation. He has appeared in Courts at all levels in the province as well as a variety of administrative tribunals. His work in the health law field is focused on malpractice defence and professional discipline and he provides services as independent counsel to a variety of professional disciplinary panels.
