She advises First Nations and Inuit clients across Canada and particularly in the North. Lorraine provides negotiation advice and appears before Courts and tribunals on Aboriginal rights, land claims implementation, self government negotiation and implementation, Aboriginal consultation requirements, impacts and benefits agreements, business agreements, energy project reviews, and environmental regulatory matters. Lorraine has a Masters of Environmental Studies (with a concentration on Aboriginal co-management regimes), and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has worked in the government and the not-for-profit sectors, and in private legal practice, on matters related to Indigenous rights and environmental regulation.
