Appointed as King’s Counsel in 2013, Kim Anderson focuses his practice on the areas of Banking and Finance, and Insolvency and Restructuring Law.Kim leads our Insolvency and Restructuring Group, routinely advising lenders, debtors, and insolvency practitioners, with a particular emphasis on acting for court-appointed officers. He also acts on matters involving banking and finance law and acts as a resource to our commercial lawyers on transactional structures and legal opinions.A former municipal councillor, Kim also provides advice on Municipal Governance, Planning Law and Regulation.Kim is frequently appointed as an arbitrator on commercial matters, holding a Q.Arb. (qualified arbitrator) designation from the ADR Institute of Canada.
