Among the group of legal professionals were Legal Aid Saskatchewan’s Izaak Sowa and Gloria Faluyi-Ogieva of the Saskatoon City Area Office. Presiding over the ceremony was The Honourable Chief Justice M.D. Popescul. This sentiment was echoed by Faluyi-Ogieva. “My time in Legal Aid so far has been a wonderful experience, a positive work environment where I feel valued and supported, communication is open and honest and I feel included and respected,” she said. Faluyi-Ogieva was presented by Jonathan Stockdale, Legal Aid Saskatchewan staff lawyer. “He gave a beautiful speech and having my colleagues from Legal Aid in attendance made it very special and memorable. I am honored to be part of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and grateful for the opportunity to serve and be able to provide legal services to my community.”
