Nicole is a lawyer at McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s office, with a primary focus on estate and trust planning, commercial law and immigration law. She also maintains a general corporate practice, supporting clients across a range of personal and business matters including advising on drafting and review of commercial agreements. Nicole’s estate and trust planning work is informed by her ongoing participation in the STEP Canada program, where she is working toward her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. Nicole offers a particular focus on the use of trust structures to address complex and specialized planning needs. Her immigration practice includes a particular focus on citizenship law. During law school, Nicole completed a Judicial Internship at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, gaining valuable legal research experience. She also worked with a non-profit organization that responded to community legal inquiries and promoted access to justice initiatives.
