About

Oren Joined the firm in 2020 after articling at a large regional firm and clerking for two justices of the British Columbia Court of Appeal. He is developing a broad civil and commercial litigation practice and has appeared as counsel before various administrative tribunals and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He has also assisted Innocence Canada to draft an application for Ministerial Review under s. 696.1 of theCriminal Codein respect of an alleged wrongful conviction. Oren graduated with a J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2018. While at law school, he received awards including prizes in criminal and constitutional law,  and a scholarship for high academic achievement and significant contribution to law school and community life. He competed as a French-language participant in the 2017 Laskin Moot, and also participated in the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program where he had the opportunity to provide summary legal advice on various immigration matters.
