A native of Wallace, Cumberland Co., Mr. Drysdale graduated from Mount Allison University as a dean's list student in 1987 with a bachelor of arts in international relations and diplomatic history. He went on to Dalhousie law school, graduating in 1991. Mr. Drysdale articled with Blois Nickerson Palmeter and Bryson in Halifax before joining the Amherst firm of Creighton Shatford in 1992. He became a partner in 1994. While in private practice, Mr. Drysdale concentrated on family and criminal law. He has acted as a per diem Crown attorney for the Public Prosecution Service and was a standing agent for the federal Department of Public Prosecutions.
