Paul Patonis a Canadian academic who specializes in the study of the ethics of law.[1]From 2023 to October 2025, he served as the dean of theChapman University School of LawatChapman University.[2][3]Paton received a bachelor's degree from theUniversity of Toronto, a master's degree in international relations from theUniversity of Cambridge, and aDoctor of Juridical Sciencedegree fromStanford University.
