With over 15 years of experience in civil litigation, Rafeena Bacchus is a trailblazer in her field. She made history by becoming the first woman of color called to the Bar in Prince Edward Island, following her clerkship for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island. She holds Bar memberships in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario. Rafeena's distinguished career has seen her balance roles representing insurance companies while advocating for the under-represented in the realms of human rights and social justice. She served as a Partner at a prominent insurance defense firm for over a decade, handling numerous complex cases such as tort MVA, occupier liability, product liability, property damage, and oil spill matters.
