About
Rebecca Crookshanks completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria. She applied her knowledge to practice criminal law, spending ten years as a legal aid lawyer. During this time, she gained significant court experience litigating criminal law, administrative law, and human rights law matters. Her exposure to issues around access to justice made her aware of the systemic influences on individuals while recognizing the importance of maintaining the rule of law and privacy rights. Rebecca has been accepted into the fall 2024 Masters of Laws program at the University of Saskatchewan.
