Shubhankaris Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public and founder of Amberstone Law. Shubhankar was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2023 having been already called to the Bar council in India in 2013. With more than 10 years of diverse result oriented practice both in India and Canada, he specializes in Real Estate, Civil Litigation and Family Law Matters. Born and raised in Chandigarh, India, Shubhankar completed his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2013, specializing in Indian Common Law at Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India. Upon being called to the bar in September 2013, he swiftly commenced his legal career as an Associate Lawyer at the prestigious ARTLO (A.R.Takkar Law Offices) in Chandigarh, India. In this role, Shubhankar groomed his skills in litigation, taking on cases related to real estate, family law, and constitutional matters before the Punjab & Haryana High Court starting early 2014. By September 2016, Shubhankar ventured into independent practice, representing major corporate entities in the real estate sector, including DPL Homes, Citi Tech Townships, DLF India, and Spelndor Landbase. He became well-regarded for challenging governmental actions that ran afoul of the Indian Constitution on behalf of affected individuals.
