Slade was born and raised in Saskatoon. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Arts & Science in 2016, and from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law in 2020. In both instances, Slade was the youngest graduate in his class. Slade completed his articles in Saskatoon, getting called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2021.
