Vanessa LaiteVanessa Laite is from Head of Bay d’Espoir and lives in Clarenville with her husband and two loving daughters. Vanessa graduated Memorial University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts and attended law school at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, graduating in 2012with a Juris Doctor.Vanessa was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar Association in 2013. In the same year Vanessa joined the law firm of Hughes and Brannan where she worked as an Associate lawyer until 2021when she started her own practice.Vanessa has gained significant volunteer experience over the years. Growing up she volunteered heavily in the Church as well as helping to serve meals at various functions in her hometown. During university she volunteered as a leader for Girl Guides of Canada which continued after she graduated, and as a moot coach for law students. Most recently Vanessa has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Clarenville SPCA.
