William Adams (he/him/his) is a law clerk in the Business Law Group at Cassels, and a member of the Corporate Services team. His primary responsibilities include corporate due diligence, maintenance, searches, audits, filings, and the drafting of corporate proceedings for private business corporations. In addition, he provides corporate compliance support for the firm’s Charity & Not-for-Profit team. He also assists the Private Client Group with estates, trusts, wills and, powers of attorney.William graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Sociology and Criminology. He obtained his class P1 (Paralegal) Licence with the Law Society of Ontario after graduating from the Centennial College Accelerated Paralegal Program with Honours. He is a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association and the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Prior to joining Cassels, William worked with various criminal defence firms located in Toronto.
